M2 Carpets (previous Maltzahn GmbH) is a specialist for printed fitted carpets. MS Carpets invested five million euros into the latest printing technology. The company, which is part of the Dutch Visscher-Caravelle Group, is headquartered in Nottuln in Germany.

The new 4-metre ChromoJet printing machine with process colour technology is based on 16 basic colours and allows the printing of every design or colour without being restricted by length or a repeating pattern.

The challenges of fitting due to shrinkage are resolved as the printing is done on pre-coated material. The new printing machine produces in a closed circuit and requires only up to 20 per cent of the energy and water consumption of other carpet printing machines. The process colour technology furthermore eliminates dye waste.

As contracts have ever-shorter deadlines, production processes that can provide short delivery times, flexibility and service as well as quantity are required.
