Newhey has been developing and manufacturing beautiful carpets at the highest levels of quality and service with passion for several decades. Founded in 1968, Newhey is a specialised manufacturer of Axminster and Colortec carpets, especially for large projects.

Colortec is a tufted Axminster imitation made of 80% wool and 20% polyamide which allows up to 6 colours to be combined per design. The manufacturing process also makes it possible to add an acoustic backing during production.

Evobac
Newhey has developed a revolutionary twin backing system for carpets.

Evobac is made of 100% recycled PET plastic – essentially waste plastic bottles that would otherwise pollute our oceans and ecosystems. To give you an idea: when you use just one square metre of Newhey carpeting, this prevents at least eight plastic bottles from landing in landfills or in our oceans. A usual annual production represents some 20 tonnes of plastic waste.
